I used a calculator and did a little researching, seems as if the 4.56's would be a good choice for my 2.7 Tacoma 44 with 285/75/16's (33's). Would any of you suggest something different, and why?

Also, can someone point me in the right direction for exactly the part I need for this? is this a 7.5" Differential?
Is this the right part? http://www.performancecenter.com/pro...ductID=1007802

If your going to stick with 33's forever, sure you can get 4.56. If you have the slightest idea of going bigger, definetly go for 4.88.
Depends on how much city/hiway/offroading. If your on the hiway a lot, stick with 4.56. If your around town and offroading once in a while, go with 4.88!!
Also, that is not the right part. It says its for the 7.5 diff. Depending on if you have a TRD axle or regular axle, it will be either 8" or 8.4" respectivley (duh, sp?)

If you know your the transmission gear ratio, tire size and differential gear size with this calculator you can see what what rpms you'll have in which gear.
