Pro Comp,Superlift,Rancho,Downey,Total Chaos???
HEEEEEEEEEEEELP!!!
There are so many lifts to choose from I just cant decide.
I have a 91 IFS and will be using BFG 33" MT's. I want decent articulation.Most of my wheeling is recreational forrest trails and desert,I dont do rock crawling or mud.
So guys,which is the best or best for the $$$??
Which ones work well and which ones dont??
What should I stay away from??
Opinions,experiances welcome!

Go with the procomp stage 2. Have been running that on my '86 for 8 years no problems.I believe superlift is basically the same lift. BTW:You don't have a panhard on your p.u.

Go with the Superlift. People seem to be pleased with that setup. You can also find them new and fairly expensive all the time on ebay.
But if you got the money go with the Total Chaos. You will get much more articulation than you would from the other 4" lifts.

Stay away from Rancho. It sucks. I hate it. It's taken lots of work to get mine setup right, and it still needs more work. Go with a trailmaster or superlift 4" and you'll be set.

I'm running the Superlift kit and have been very pleased thus far. I like the fact that it uses all new crossmembers instead of brackets like the other kits do. No it doesn't increase travel, but I am pleased with how it performs.

In my opinion it sounds like you would just like some additional ground clearance, the ProComp should suit that fine...
If you want to go fast, or spend time in Glamis and want to run in the sand drags, go with the TC kit.

Both. It's got a diff drop, upper control arms, and larger torsion bars. I guess the lift isn't 'that' bad... they just didn't address the lower control arms at all. When I get my bills paid off again, I'm going to look into having some custom LCA drop brackets fabricated for it.
