pp springs worth it for a 99?

believe it or not im not really into the drifting. i do it every now and then for fun but the car is for grip driving.
so far its got an sr20 2.0L turbo with a t28, apexi power fc standalone engine management, adjustable coil overs, adjustable sways, 17x9" gram lights and lots of other good stuff. its a money pit but i have lots of fun with it so its all worth it

well i just took some measurements from my runner and looks like the pp coils wont get me that much lift. i think i'd be better off saving up for an SS#7. i'll drive it like this till i need new tires then ill do the lift and 33's.

I don't agree with that because it's hard to say exactly where the center of the hub actually is and when we're talking about accuracy around maybe 1/4", you'll be alot more repeatable measurements going fender to ground than fender to hub (since you have defined points on both sides of the measurement with fender to ground). The other issue is that there are alot of different starting ride heights depending on the year and most people get very confused as people start talking about how much lift they got and measuring ride height cuts through alot of that confusion. The tire size is easy to account for and tire pressure is negligible as well (since most run their tires over 30 psi for highway use anyway). I myself much prefer the fender to ground ride height measurement for comparison purposes.
