Basically there are 3 ways to go. One is with factory components. Stupidly expensive. Aftermarket kits come in 2 basic types - the motor/regulator assembly or the motor that turns the crank on the original regulator. The replacement regulator assembly units are generally considered to be better (stonger, quieter etc) but are considerably more money. They have to be designed for each car, no universal kits there. I've never had any problems with the cheaper universal motor-drive-only type, but I do avoid the "cheapest" models and get a little bit better one. They had one for $89 but it really looked cheap. The last system I bought works great, been about a year now. This one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...740761462&rd=1
They are easy to install - running the wires is harder than installing the parts.
