Well I know I need to replace it, but what exactly does it do? And what happens if I just don't change it?

 

I know the stuff in my rig is what came with it new back in 88! Ive never changed PSF, Im sure it breaks down like oil "I would think"... If any one does know chime in!~ Perhaps this is why my steering gets a little sketchy when its cold!
