Post Body Lift Hitch Relocation Question
Did a search and came up with 500 hits but no answers.
So, here's my question:
Who of you have successfully relocated the stock trailer hitch, ('98 style), up 2'' to compensate for a 2" body lift, and how did you do it?

Yep...you basically have 4 options:
1. Get someone to fab up new mount brackets
2. Buy an aftermarket bumper w/ integrated hitch
3. Take it off and forget towing
4. Leave it be and deal with the gap.
I think you'll find #2 although expensive is your best bet. I dont know that may places that would weld up new mounting brackets and garauntee them to tow safely.
Side note to fabbers...this would be a GREAT item to fab up and sell $$$. Front bumper ARB/TJM brackets too!
