how's she run? looks like a good base to start up on, though the '79 trucks are getting pretty rare. wish mine was a shortbox!

on the downside, the fuel pump is in the tank so it's a pain in the butt to change(i did mine the day before yesterday). the 20R is an incredibly reliable engine...mine had nearly 320,000 miles before the front main seal blew and the compression was so low that it had about 75hp. the L43 4 speed it has isn't the strongest transmission but you can bolt up just about any toyota 4wd tranny behind the 20R, since it's essentially a 22R with a better head and less displacement.
