Possible for Passenger side automatic window too?

I was wondering if it was possible to maybe buy a auto window switch for the passenger side and would it work or what would need to be done in order for that to work? THANKS!

well sure, anything is possible... but... the question is, is it worth it?

If you have an aftermarket alarm, you can get the window module and you will get both full auto operation but also the ability to roll them up/down with the remote. It will probably be cheaper than using toyota parts knowing how cheap they tend to be

99+ runners already have the auto passenger window, so to answer your Q, yes, it can be done...

I've been curious about this myself. I was thinking that (A) I'm not sure how they work, but (B) since the newer 3rd gens have it, wouldn't it be fairly easy?

I was also curious about the sunroof auto switch in the newer 3rd gens.

Does anybody here know how the auto-down feature is setup? would it be a simple splice into the current wiring?

Ohh ok I thought I could just get a AUTO switch, since the auto one sorta "clicks" but for $300 I'll just hold it for a few seconds!

Anyone know of a easier (cheaper!) way?

^ that's for the 4th gens. you may be able to plug and play w/ just a new switch in the 3rd gen. take the driver side switch out and put it on the passenger side and see if it works. if it does, then go buy a new switch.
