Dude,
Same thing happened with a botched timimg belt job on my girl's 2000 mitsu eclipse. The shop tried to back out, (said their computer went out) and asked for a receipt.
Try to relax, and think this through.
SOME Thoughts/Questions:
1)where do you typically buy your oil and fitler?
They (the store) maybe able to pull up your exact record of purchase (receipt) with IF you give them a simple cc# or debit Number. Also check with your BANK they can tell you the exact dates and time the "15.00 charge" was made at autozone for xample. They maybe they do a "exception report" and tell you every charge you ever had, just for autozone....
Also Check with the companies "LP" department (loss prevention) You give them a card number and they maybe able to pullup every purchace in detailthat you ever made with the card.
you take that info and go back to the store and ask them very nicely and explain to them whats at stake and if they would be so kind to pull up the oiriginal receipt(s) for your oil purchases (and oil filter). They may have to call the corporate office to go back that far but trusty me, there is a record.
good luck
