Pics of modified Japanese Surfs (4 Runners)

Here's a couple of links that have some cool pics of modified Surfs in Japan:

http://hsoc.room.ne.jp/~hsoc/

http://hsoc.room.ne.jp/~hsoc/catalog/catalog.htm

http://hsoc.room.ne.jp/~hsoc/member/membars.htm

Too bad the text is in Japanese, but the pics are worth a look...

Maybe somebody should post on their site to see if they would be interested in checking out our message board. I am sure some of the people speak English. I guess the hard part would be figuring out how to email them!

Okay call me stupid, but you guys seem very interested in them lifting their rigs, and how they do it, or how much. I don't get why in your post you seemed shocked at how they lift them or something, why?

One thing to remember is that some of the really high ones that are lifted are 2WD.

They don't have to worry about the CV boots or CV shafts being at extrem angles because they don't have them.

Nice Flares

OK... I saw those aweome lifted rigs from the homeland. It looks like they had a manufactured cut-out flare on the 2nd Gens. (with gay (not that there is anything wrong with that) rubber strips attached for more coverage!!) Where can I get those for mine? Please don't say Japan...

In all seriousness - a bit off topic, sorry - is it possible to mount the 1st Gen cutout flares on my 2nd Gen? Or is there some other 4door vehicle that Bushwacker makes cutout flares for that I can adapt to my '93? Yeah, I know - call Bushwacker or look at their site.

Maybe I should have another . kinda got started early..., but it makes me anymore. What the heck, I'm an old
