Pickle Fork but no Pickles

OK, I went to Sears today to get a pickle fork for the steering linkage on my 93 IFS. I didn't know anything about these before I went, but I guess I was surprised when I saw there were different fork sizes.

I asked the yahoos that worked there - they looked at me like I had two heads

So I went with the 15/16" one (smallest they had, I didn't remember anything too big under there)

Is this size going to work for me?

I'm not sure. You can borrow them from Autozone with a 100% refundable deposit. Much better than buyng a really expensive tool that will rarely get used.

Still in the packaging...

It's still intact, I'm taking it back if Autozone will loan them. It was $14.99 at Sears.

You can also find these real cheap at harbor freight. These are one of those tools that name brand doesn't really matter. I got mine at harbor freight for like $10 and it came with five different size heads that you can screw off the handle. If you don't have a store near you I think they have a online store too.

Cebby, try this factory 2nd gen manual online.

There are plenty of PDF files in there, and it may list what you need.

I have the whole Zip file on my PC, but have not read through all of them to see what detail it has.
