Nice results!
I'll try get pics up for you folks of my setup later today - holes under the rectangular panel under the headlight. I just bought some 1" rubber grommits that will be going in. It would be interesting to see the difference in temp cutting out the sheet metal around the headlight makes.

Pics of my intake setup
Here are some preliminary shots of my intake setup. In the first two pics, you can see the four 1" holes. They are somewhat rusted out. I have some touch up paint that I will be using as well as some silicone to seal the deal along with rubber grommit inserts. In the second picture, you can see straight through the holes directly into the intake area. The sheet metal on the bottom of the headlight was cut out to accomodate these holes. In the third and fourth pictures, you can see how the sheet metal was cut to allow more airflow coming from the front grille.
There is a zoom function, (+) under the photos when you follow the links. I am unable to upload the full pictures on this forum.
After grinding the rust out, placing two coats of touch up paint, and sealing the grommits with silicone...
The finished product:

um, that really doesn't make any sense, bedliner on body panels is really functional, no worries about rust, dents, scratches, or anything like that.

yea. i like it. looks tough. as far as the hood scopes facing backwards, i personally agree to that. the whole point is to have the hot air vented out, not cool air in. if its forward uve got air pishing in against the hot air trying to get out, and its just a stalemate. when u mentioned heat disapation was better at a stop u further proved it. when there isnt air pushing agaisnt it, the air can rise out freely. however, its kinda hard to switch around the hood scoop when its built into the hood. lol.
