my original picture was much larger, but it would not allow me to attach it to my message unless I reduced it to the current size (if you know how I can do this let me know).
I bought this 4Runner sight unseen. I had my heart set on a first generation and sold my '94 Ford f150 to come up with some $$$. Sold my truck for $3650 and immediately started searching for a 1st Gen. 4Runner. I called about one I found online and found out the guy was the original owner. Had 200,000 miles on it but it sounded like it was in good condition. He wanted $2600 for it which was about what Kelly Blue Book value was. Edmund's TMV was for $1800 so I offered him $2100 over the phone and told him I would overnight him a $500 deposit on the vehicle till I could pick it up. He accepted and the following weekend I drove 14 hours round trip to get it. His wife about cried as I was driving away it had been such a part of the family.
The only problem, which I knew of before hand was the back up light would not come on. I bought the neutral start switch from a parts store for $135 and put it in with a friend and now they work.
If you know how to attach a bigger pic on here let me know.
