Part # for OEM 2000 Tundra brake pads (199mm calipers)?

Hey all,
I am replacing my front brakes system, and I am upsizing to Tundra brakes. I have my rotors and calipers. All I need are the brake pads. The OEM pads seem to be favored by most here.

Can anyone give me the part number for Tundra OEM pads for the 199mm caliper size? Also, finding OEM Toyota brake pads online is a lot more difficult than I thought it would be. Anyone have a website for OEM parts?

Thanks!
Mike

I've used trdsparks.com for quite some time and always gotten good service.

199 MM Calipers OEM # 0446-OC012 Smaller pad

OEM # 0446-35290 Larger pad.

Apparently Toyota up graded brake system on tundra's back in 2000 to present with bigger pads, (thus larger pad part # above) rotors and calipers, same as Sequoia.

Brake pad sizes for 199mm Tundra Brakes

Thanks you both for the information.

I'm a little confused about the smaller vs. bigger pad thing. Are you saying there are two pad sizes for the same size caliper -199mm? Or is the larger pad size referring to the size that goes with the 231mm caliper system?

Thanks!

199 MM Calipers = 0446- OC012

231 MM Calipers = 0446- 35290

Sorry to confuse you,

Now shims??

Ok, so I need OEM brake pads, part #04465-0c012, for 199mm calipers. Thanks KSTI.

Found out from the dealer that they don't come with shims. It was probably around 15 years ago that I did front brakes on any vehicle. Am I going to need shims? If so, how can I obtain them for my new Tundra brake gear that I am installing on my 4Runner?

The devil is always in the details isn't it?

Thanks!

A while back Toyota pads came with shims, not anymore at least most of them IIRC.

There sold in a separate shim kit.
199 MM Calipers shim kit.
Part #04945-04012

The Devil makes more money this way lol

Thanks ktsi. Yeah, the devil is making around $450 in parts for this project, and I'm doing all the work! Well, its still better than the $940 the shop wanted and I am getting an upgraded brake system to boot! I ordered the shims. Thanks for your help!

Fordless, trdsparks.com was a good site recommendation for OEM parts, thank you!
