I sent you a couple of emails yesterday. Do you have that feature disabled as well? Turn that or your PM feature on, at least temporarily. Send me a PM or email.

Darren,

Sorry about that. It occured to me to check my profile setup after requesting information from you and I had an old email address in there which no longer works. I now have my current email address in there, and turned on the PM feature as well.

Can you resend?

Thanks.

Chris, you're missing the point of my argument completely. My argument is not about rubbing while off roading. My argument is about the axle shift at ride height and I believe it is negligable (although schaefer's number may prove otherwise). Read the last couple sentences of my post again:
I don't think I'm missing point, just stating the main reason for installing the panhard drop bracket wasn't designed to fix the side to side difference, but rather to fix the rubbing as much as possible. On top of fixing most of the rubbing, it also, obviously, helps to fix the side to side difference that you are worried about Robinhood.

When trying to figure out why I needed the panhard drop bracket, I wasn't as much concerned with the side to side difference, but rather the rubbing that was occuring. It sounds like you are the opposite.

No, in addition to the rubbing, previous discussions have centered around the need to relocate the axle for the sake of "getting it back to stock." This thinking was especially prevalent in a thread about getting a drop bracket for 1.5in lifted 2nd gens where I don't believe it is necessary.

Also, on his website schaefer says, "This will re-center the rear axle on a 1996-2002 4Runner after it has been lifted 2" to 3"." I believe this was the original intent for his drop bracket. And, I believe nobody even knew that the relocation would help with rubbing until Keisur (I think it was him) found out about it and posted it on YT. (I could be wrong here)

No, that's where you're missing the point. I don't believe that it significantly affects the side to side location of the axle at ride height.

Also, Rob said:
Ok but since I rarely go full flex cuz I don't go off-roading that often, would this still be necessary for street driving? Not that I'm a street queen! Just that I don't go wheelin as much or as hardcore as you guys
My original response was to him and to new people who don't off road much. Since he doesn't go off roading too much then he doesn't need to spend the money on a drop bracket. Newbies might have seen this thread and think they need to go out and get this bracket when they don't. Those that are more experienced with modifications and off roading will already know whether they need it or not. My intent here is to save some people some money.

I think eveybody is getting tired of this debate so if you or anybody else would like to continue this please PM me.

Just to chime in, I do not have a bracket and Offroad...

I havent noticed too much... ill check, but it's not enough rubbing or damage to even consider putting a rush on a bracket...
