Panel fuse keeps blowing on 98 Tacoma
Ok, so I am comming home from class today and I went over this bump (damn Illinois roads suck, feels like your whole car is gonna shake apart). Well, as soon as I go over the bump, my dash lights go out. So I'm thinking that somehow or another maybe the switch for the headlights got turned off, but they were still on. So I pulled over, checked the fuse, and sure enough, the panel fuse was blown. Well I replaced it, but figured it would just blow again, and it did.
So, anyone know what in the world could be going wrong? I am guessing something is shorting out, like a lose wire just grounding out. I have no idea, and it really pisses me off. Thanks for any help!

Sounds like you're grounding out somewhere, or have a poor connection. Find out everything attached to the fuse that is blowing. Then check your circuitry from there. From your description, it sounds like you may have a vibration problem. Once you figure out what circuits are attached to the fuse, you may opt to put in a circuit breaker where the fuse was and then move the associated harnesses and see if your problem can be re-created. Good luck.
