Painting my runner this weekend
This weekend my gf is gonna be out of town, so that gives me time to do some body work on my truck and then do some painting. This is my old '89 4runner with 230k miles. It's my daily driver and soon i'll be building it up to be a moderate trail rig. I'm no professional at body work or painting (but I did get a lot of practice with my old '75 J**p). I've decided that due to money and the fact that it's an old truck, i'll just go with rattle can paint. My main question is, after i do the body work and sanding and all of that, do i need to primer the whole truck, or just the parts that are bondo or bare metal?
Also if anyone has any hints that will make the body work and painting go easier for me, i'd appreciate it.
Thanks!
