Painting the ARB

Painting the ARB
Not that my ARB Sahara bar will be here anytime soon, but I'm wondering which color to paint it.
I was thinking to either paint it black OR the color the limiteds had:
Then paint the rear to match either one.
Suggestions?

BLACK, duh...
did you order it?? and what are you doing posting old pictures of your truck
edit:
ah, not your truck...
i see... well, black truck... black wheels... a black bumper just makes sence... then all you'll need is a schafer rear bumper and you'll be set!

Yep! I ordered it! But it's something like a month wait for it to get here from Austrailia. It comes in a grey color.
I kinda like the color I showed in that pic of the limited. Black would be cool though.
Later on I think I'll be getting Bushwacker Extend-A-Fender with the side cladding. It's only $20 more for the cladding, and I would paint it the same as I choose for the bumper.
Now that I think about it, I'm sorta partial to all black. But damn, I'm really gonna scratch it. I won't ever go for the all blacked out look, I need a little bling here and there. IE. Chrome hoop, emblems, and possibly an 01+ Grille.
Keep the comments coming!

Anybody care to photoshop that pic so I can see what it looks like with that (black pearl?) color on the bumpers?
Ooh, what about Desert Dune as I see on a lot of black limiteds? Maybe it would look funny until I got flares.
Ok, we're leaning black again.

The color it comes in is VERY close to the limited flare color in that first pic... It's a metallic gray powercoat. If that's what you're thinking, then I'd leave it that color and paint your rear bumper to match. That way you won't have paint to scratch up on the ARB.
Here's some good pics of one that's the original color... CLICK HERE

The black would be pretty snazzy too tho
Thanks for all the ideas.

I think the all black look is becoming a little too popular. I thought the idea was kinda to make your truck unique. If it were my truck, I would leaving it the color it comes then color match whatever else you get.

I'll likely have a nightmare and change my mind.

If the slider is longer the flare will hit it when the door opens, unless it is mounted way lower.
How much did you have to shorten them?
BTW, I think I'm going to gets Stubbs sliders.

I am not sure how much shorter they were. Something like 2" or so. I am not sure if this applies to the bushwackers or not. Much of that depends on how they taper at the bottom of the rear door.
Also, Stubbs makes a great product. If I were in NorCal, I would probably do that. I went with DeMello because he is a nice guy, does great work ( like Stubbs) and he was close enough for a measurement / fitting session, then return to install a week or so later.
