my sisters 99 limited 4runner:
a mechanic said the diff was bad, i havent had a chance to get under there and check the u joints...

if it is the diff how difficult is it to fix?... and how much should we expect the repairs to be?

its a limited so it has 4wd and all... and automatic tranny, thanks in advance!

 

Is it coming from directly beneath the pedals? (brake and acc)

 

naw, it feels like its either from the tranny or below the truck..
