overheating problem *fixed*
a day or two back i posted about my runner overheating. well, the problem was not a thermostat, nor leakage.. it was the mud that was caked and jamed in my radiator. i took it out and cleaned it thoroughly and boy o boy was there a mushy, chunky brown spot on my drive way. no more overheating, and a clean radiator which now gives me cool cool air for the hot hot summer!

That is great news. I am glad to hear that you solved your problem and everything is ok. And yes, it is a GREAT feeling to do things yourself and solve the problems! Way to go! :beaver:

Fantastic!
Glad to hear it was a simple fix of some nicely aimed H20.
You should see my parking space here when I wash my rig for the first time after going up and playing in the mud.
It leaves streaks all over the asphalt here. I even rince the spot pretty good, but after I pull out, it shows pretty good.
Plus all the Ajax that gets underneath the tread when I clean them won't wash away with the hose.
The manager sees me later and says looks like you cleaned your rig again
She doesn't mind though.
I think I am the only one around here who even washes my rig at the complex.
Best part is I can do it in my own stall as the spigot is close by.
It's been two weeks now since I washed & waxed the rig, so it will be due next weekend.
I am going to follow what you did here and look and see if I have any mud hiding around the radiator too, as it's getting close to air-con season here.

Nope, dont need any more. Laying under my rig, spraying the mud with a hose for 2 hours and getting covered in mud myself is enough for right now.
