What domain is your email?
Hotmail and AOL do not get along with Yotatech.
If you use either of these domains, more than likely you will not receive any yotamail.
In fact we may disable Hotmail users form even signing up here.
Almost daily I have to fix someone's Hotmail or AOL account to activate them, as they don't get the reg letter, and I'm getting tired of it.
I hate Hotmail and AOL.

Your school could be blocking our email then.
Just to let you know, I did subscribe to this thread a few hours ago when I responded, and email notify works for me.

I've been getting all my thread notifications via hotmail.
Actually, I haven't gotten some of the old ones - for example, the "what gen 4runner do you have" poll I haven't been in for 2-3 months - I don't get that reminder very often. For the most part though, I'm 100% sure that I'm getting all my recent notifications.
EDIT:
Oh yeah... forgot to mention - yes, I've been getting the notifications for this thread pretty reliably.

That's because it's Hotmail.

Yeah, I always get email notifies to my ISP's account, never missed one yet.
We may eventualy eliminate Hotmail users from signing up here.
If so, they will have to get an email account elsewhere.
A few other forums have gone this route, as Hotmail is a real PITA.
Almost daily I am fixing a new sign-ups account because they don't get the reg letter, and believe me, it gets old very fast.

There is no ETA on our search feature.
That could be the cause of some of the snafus here, and it will be off while Scott does some debugging on it.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Believe me, I use the "View new posts" feature everytime I visit here, and it['s tied into the search too, so now I have to wade through all of the forum categories to see what's new.
Not fun at all
