Oil Change in 03 4Runner
Does anyone know how to reset the "Maintenance" oil change reminder light that comes on on the dash once you perform an oil change on the 2003 4Runner with the V6?
Thanks,
Thanks,

03 Oil Change Light
Thanks for the info. I looked through my owner's manual last night and didn't see any reference to how to reset the light. It just said to change the oil. Surely Toyota isn't smart enough to have set it so you change the oil and that resets the light!
If you have any further information, please don't hesitate to let me know.
Thanks again,
Scott

Page 121 in the manual...bottom left corner
"Turn the ignition key to the OFF position with the odometer reading shown, Turn the ignition key to the ON position while holding down the trip meter reset button, hold down the button until the light goes off. " That should do it

Oil Change Light
Thanks for the info. I knew it was probably something really simple.
I've decided I'm going to start changing my own oil, etc. and having to deal with that light was going to drive me insane.
Thanks again!
