Mine gets me up the mountain in the winter time for snowboarding.
Summer time it doesnt get much use. Its to pretty to get dirty
My 98 only have 36k miles on it.

I try to get off road at least once a month no matter the time of year. I knew when I bought a 4X4 that I didn't want it to be a yuppie mobile or a nice street machine. I find that off roading can be relaxing and exhilarating at the same time!

I try to go every weekend, sometimes even after school during the week, but thats not really "offroad".. just some cool dirt roads that have some areas that 4 wheel drive makes much easier. It's fun though.

However, I prefer big rocks over mud anyday.

I would take pics of my truck right now, but I don't have a camera handy. My paint isn't too visible right now.
I was tooling around the logging roads outside of Yamhill, OR today. Lots of neat stuff out there. I found this. No difficult terrain today, but just some good, muddy fun. I am going to go have dinner there sometime soon. Looks really awesome.

When I get the chance
I like to take mine out and get it dirty.
It got plenty dirty this weekend on the Fall Colors run.
Here are some past and present pics.
Busted, taking a Yotashine break
I dig snow the most to mess around in.
I take it easy though when I put it in 4WD.
I'm not out to bash & gash my rig, I have far to much time & $$$ involved to destroy my daily driver for that.
But one can still have lots of fun outdoors without putting a dent in your rig.
Once day I am going to build up an older flat bed Toy for some stuff that I don't care if I roll the rig, or dent it.

i try to go as often as i can. at this time, my truck (91 yota pickup) has a fresh mud paint job on it. you should see the looks i get when driving in downtown LA picking up my girlfriend. i try to go atleast once a week, doesnt have to be a huge trip, but just to get off the pavement. i go down to huntington beach...theres an open oil field with hills and LOTS OF MUD. but we got kicked outta there a few nights ago by the cops, and cant go back for awhile. on Sunday, i went down to Saddelback mountains (i think thats where it is) and drove a nice dirt trail (lots of ruts) and did a lil mud boggin, and donuts in an open field. at the end of the trail is "Holy Jim Trail" and hiked it to a waterfall. nice nice.
ill post pics shortly
