I like the rear blue color... The rest of the truck... Pfff...

Nice if it was stock or SAS but not that way...

look at the webshots pics... it is SAS

toy front 8" w/ D60 rear, and a 350 Vortec Crate Engine...

but wait a minute... aren't all vortec engines EFI? if so, then something is screwy since he said it has an edelbrock carb...

what i DON'T understand is the ladder rear links on a leaf sprung axle... somebody didn't know what they were doing, and w/ a SAS, that's scarey...

the exterior wouldn't be so bad if you got rid of the poser tires, lost the 5" body lift, and then went w/ some 35" MT/R on some MT Classic II's. it's the INTERIOR that makes me want to PUKE

i wish i could pick it up for about $2k or $3k and make it a killer trail rig... too bad that will NEVER happen...

At first I thought it was a toy, with those odd looking tires on such a small body and then further down the page, he even has to have a disclaimer saying that its not a toy that is a working MONSTER TRUCK...lol.

Ladder bars are a common fix for axle wrap with leaf springs. Edumacate uself:

I don't get the correlation of the ladder bars and SAS being a scarey combo. It isn't. The amount of lift (and that sinful interior) is the scarey part

yeah, i realized that after i posted that. i was just thinking in my one-dimensional coil-sprung world...

well, it appears that mechanically, it might be decent. now that interior is another thing all-toghether.

Vortec engines aren't necessarily FI. Vortec is the head design, and a crate motor with Vortec heads is available in many configs, and carb manifolds go on them just fine. Lotsa carbed small blocks with Vortec heads out there.
