What's up with Toyota not making any red 4Runners any longer? I have an '02 and it seems like when they changed the body style, they got rid of the red. What's the deal?

 

Maybe it's cop magnet color.....

 

I saw a red/burgundy colored 4th gen last week. I never liked red anyway, but I think they still make em.??

 

Or the green metallic.

 

I hate the red/burgundy ones, especially bamachem's.





P.S. I really don't like red, but that is why mine is black!

 

You eastern boys can duke it out...But out here in the west, there's only one color to have.

I personally dont like the newer red models. They look ugly to me.

I like the old school red on the toy p/u's and 1st gen runners.

 

The Red is back for the '05 4Runner.

 

red is a good color for a runner. i like bamachem's.

I like the bright red 3rd gen's. But I don't think that color would look good on a 4th...

 

I saw a dark red 4th gen and it looked nice but part of it might be that you don't see that color much if at all and it really stood out.

 

What about your electronics?

Funny you mentioned it. I read somewhere where they had a study on which color was most prone to accidents and silver was at the top. The safest color? They concluded it was white.

 

The Sunfire red were only available on 2003 SR5's. Any color is better than that Pacific blue AKA chick color

I've never seen a red 4th gen... I didn't realize they made any in red.

yeah yeah yeah, I know, red is contrversial (either you love it or hate it), but I couldn't just follow in the footsteps of all you POSERS out there so I had to be different and do an ALL RED 3rd gen runner (as opposed to an Oh-So-Tired All-Black one ). In preference of best looking, I'd have to pick Black, then Red, then Green, then Silver, then White, and BLUE is last in my book. Oh, and ONLY monochromatic. No two tone yucky stuff.

You gotta admit, there's not many solid red 3rd gens out there, and only one 99 comes to mind
