No More Running Boards!
#27
Love my Running boards.................
Great collectors of all the crap that would be spewing on my doors etc.........
Like I say........If i'm going to hit it with my boards........ then I'm somewhere I shouldn't be.

I don't like the running boards because whenever I get out of the truck, I have to make a wide step to avoid dirtying my pants. Also, the stock ground clearance ( which by the way, is excellent ) is hampered somewhat. I don't mind scratching up the running boards, but when something pushes them into the body panel, not cool.
On the other hand - I like that most people open doors, and for the large part, as long as the vehicle is not taller then mine, their doors smack into my running boards. I've witnessed this enough to decide to keep mine until I can afford quality weld on sliders. Which won't be for a while.

I'm not as lucky as you! Although I always, always park away from everyone on lots and wherever else, someone still managed to put several dings in my drivers side door. There's also a deep mystery ding on right next to the triangle window, way up high towards the roof. What put that there is beyond me.
