no low speed fan(my 1st post)

I have no low speed fan. I checked the resister and it looked o.k. When I move the switch I can here a click at the fan but nothing happens. Could it be I need a new fan? Thanks.

If the fan works on medium and high, then it's most likely the resistor. The one for the low speed is about 1 ohm if I remember. Do not try it with it out of the airbox, it'll burn up for sure that way. I fixed one on my Supra by replacing the 1 ohm resistor.

Sorry to bring up such an old post fellas. But, we have been looking at a 1st Gen for my little brother, and the fan only works on the two highest speeds.

Where is this resistor located that suposedly needs to be replaced (referenced in the post above)? Anyone else have any ideas?

Thanks a lot guys-

The resistor is located in the blower housing on the pas. side of the vehicle behind the blower motor held in with 2 screws it has a 4 wire connector that plugs into it. HTH
