Those are looking pretty dang nice

A bit off topic - do you like the pinstripes? Most people I run into just tolerate them - I have yet to find someone who likes those.

hehe, thanks.. on the side note: actually, i don't mind the pinstripes. i don't think it adds anything, but it doesn't detract either. especially with white on black.

thanks yes, those are the stock 15" alloys. I think they look kinda cool. if i'm gonna get steelies, then i'd probably get some with chrome plating like the alloys.

I get my BFG's today! I think black-out looks the best.

Cool

Truck looks sweet man. I can't count the # of times people told me I would get stuck in the mud runnin those BFG ATs. I always had good luck with those tires, have not had any on my Toy but I ran those on my old 76 Scout II(wish I could have kept that when I moved from WA.) and they lasted many miles of street wear also.

I've been considering the BFG A/T's as well. A couple of things bother me about
them though: They are speed rated at 98MPH. Not that I drive faster than that
on a regular basis, just don't want the tires to blow when I have the occasional
need for speed.

They seem more like an off-road tire and I worry about how loud they'll be on the
highway were I spend most of my time.

I do want tires that are competent off-road, but they must be good highway tires.

Would Revo's be a better choice for me? I really like the way the BFG's look.

Those BFGs don't have a mileage warranty so if you spend more miles on the pavement you should look at the Revos or another A/T tire with a warranty.

boogyman, the truck looks nice but you need to get clear turn signals to match the corners and the look will be complete.

yeah, i know. but the place i bought the corners from is selling the bumper clears for like $30 + shipping. I've been considering an ARB bumper which is why i haven't dumped the money for them yet. but thanks for the compliment

I checked www.procarparts.com and they want $24 per side for Tacoma clear signals but for 3rd gen Runners you can get a pair for $22 and for another $23 you can get clear corners so under $50 for both sets. I wonder what the big diff is on the Tacomas for them to charge about 2X the price.

i got my stuff through www.importvision.com ..looks like they dropped the price though, it's now $24 for the clear bumper lenses. maybe i'll have to get that.

I got my tires from Discount Tire Co. and I got the extra warranty so if I jack up the tires on or off the road they're covered
