That thing is badass ! I am not into lowered trucks, but that looks nice. I think the wider look adds to the aggresivness of the truck. That Taco is badass. I like the whole black out look of the Taco aswell.

I like the look of the front end but I'm not too hot on the rear quarter and the tailgate. And look at those whimpy front brakes rotors! It's gonna need more stopping power than that if they plan on marketing it to the ricers, especially with a supercharger! The gauge cluster is cool looking but the center console sux. Hopefully there is some other option for those who want to go with an aftermarket stereo. All in all, it's still the coolest looking stock mini truck to date.

I actually like it, I would never buy a 2wd truck, but the sport truck people will go for it.
Its a ton better than that Chevy Xtreme (do they still make that?)
I can't wait to see the 4X4 DC pics!

Also the brakes look small.

I'll bet the 4X4 will still have a 6 lug wheel (especially since the 4Runner does).

uhhh... oh
Chevy just calls the ZQ8 suspension "Sport" on the Colorado instead of doing the whole "Xtreme" thing this time.... I wonder how much Bob Lutz had to do with that.
You can probably still gaud it one up on your way out of the dealership, but it doesn't require the goofy xtreme badge anymore. My dad has a Sonoma with the ZQ8 suspension and the 17-inch wheels. It my fall apart tomorrow, but that thing flies AND gets 24 mpg (when I'm not in it

I agree with the sucky stereo comments. It looks like it's going to be hard to make an aftermarket stereo fit in that dash. Unless they have the Scion Pioneer 6 disc in-dash player as an option. That could be cool.

The oblong circles are clearly visble under the tape on the front grill. I don't know why they're keeping it a secret this truck was already shown at the auto show.
I still don't like the looks, but this isn't the 4X4. The center console/radio is ugly. It's similar to the Titan and many other newer trucks. The rear bumper isn't as simple as they used to be. It curves up on the ends like the 4-Runners. It will be harder to make a simple aftermarket rear bumper because of those "winglets".

Nice looking, especially for a 2wd.
Also, those are still pretty good size rotors. Think about the size of the rim. Plus, realize that it's a 2wd truck, no transfercase, front diff, etc. Plus they seem to have a bit more plastic on them, therefor lighter. I bet those brakes are no different than the brakes that I have on my tacoma. Since it weighs less, what's the point in having HUGE brakes if it doesn't need them? My truck seems to do just fine.
It's obvious that they just threw some spare rims on the truck to try and keep it as low profile as possible. So that's obviously going to be different. If it's going to be a "sports" truck, then I'm sure they are going to upgrade the brakes.
