New Tacoma on Toyota.com

There's not a lot of info but the new Tacoma is on the Toyota website.
http://www.toyota.com

They rate the X-Runner 4.0L @ 240 horses and 275 lb.-ft. The regular Tacoma's 4.0 L is rated 245 horses and 282 lb.-ft.

Is there any reason for this difference?

I think I will pass> They say that the drive train is assembled in mexico as well.I bought one of the last 2004s for this reason. The fender openings look just like the chevy colorado from the pictures I have seen.I dont know who stole what.It may grow on me but I dont think it will.

Looks great to me....but I am loving the quality feel of my 03 Runner...definitely going to test-drive. Maybe it will take the place of my T and the Runner?!

I eagerly awaited the new 4th gen 4runners, and when I saw photos of it, said it was the ugliest thing I've seen. Toyota ruined a perfectly rugged looking 4runner. It so bubbly and round, it looks like a highlander.

Between that time and now, I bought one

Personally, I love the new Taco. A lot of the styling cues from the 4th gen 4runners carried over to the Taco, and it looks awesome!!!

I now need an excuse (and money) to buy one!!!

It looks like a new F150 and a Chevy Coloroado had a secret love affair and forgot to use protection. It may eventualy grow on me, but I don't like it now. Then again I didn't like the original Tacoma back in 95 either.
