My Tundra coils shipped from Washington State today. Since I am so anal, I called Wheelers to get a set of Revtek studs. He said they are around $6.50 each and offered me a set of studs he found by another manufacturer 6 studs and nuts for 13 bucks.

I am going to install the longer studs but originally I am not going to install the Revtek top outs. I really want a pure spring lift, but want the option to add the extra 1/2 easily if needed.

So in a week or two I'll be rolling on 4WD TRD Tundra coils.

I'll list the 10 month old 99 4Runner V6 coils and Cornbred spacers for sale for $160. That a $280 value for 160 and it works for sure.

I have a set of used 4WD Access Cab coils (Blue/Green, Yellow/Green) on their way and also a set of used 4WD TRD coils (Blue/Yellow, Yellow, Yellow) on their way too.

I plan to install the 4WD non-TRD, B/G, Y/G coils first, since they have a linear spring rate. I will install longer studs also, but no top spacer yet. I am hoping to get no more than 2" of lift from these although i do expect them to settle slightly for the first 1000 miles or so. If i need to add the top spacer, i will.

If those do not work out, i will swap for the 4WD TRD coils and go from there.

OK, materials are ordered and on their way to the shop that will be doing the CNC milling of the spacers. First batch will be front spacers only - no studs - 3/8" thick, and will provide 0.5" of lift for the front.

After I sell a few sets of the front spacers, I'll be ordering more material and adding a design for some 3/8" thick rear trim spacers (will give exactly 3/8" of lift for the rear and will be designed for use w/ the conical bumpstops).

Price for fronts will be $37.00 per pair including Priority Mail shipping.

They should be available on Nov. 1st for shipping.

I take paypal, money order, etc. NO Personal Checks.

Studs are available from Wheelers for $13 or you can use High Grade Hex-head bolts from your local hardware store. I suggest the studs from Wheelers. Revtek studs will also work, but they are $6.50 EACH.

Revtek wants $50/pair for their 3/8" spacers PLUS $39 for studs PLUS shipping. You can get the spacers from me and the studs from Wheelers for $50 total and save about $45 and get the same EXACT lift.

If you want a set, PM your details and I'll take pre-orders. They will be shipped the first week of Nov.

Revtek charges $25 each for the spacers + $6.50 each for the studs w/ locknut.

I come up with $89 + shipping. I wonder if Wheelers sent you the cheaper studs or something. Even if they did, they still charged less than Revtek.

Well, if that is indeed the case, this is still a hair cheaper than them.

I think you mush have got the house brand studs and the actual Revtek spacers. Which I thought were around 17 each. But the prices may have went up with all the top out spacers they are selling.

Andy-
Do you see a need for the rear spacer? I'm almost dragster with this setup and the 891's.....Smashed my skidplate (snapped a bolt too) and the bottom of my ARB...

Sit tight. I only get 1.5" of lift out of the 891's. I run a 1" spacer and the 891 to get 2.5" on a good day.

They go down, just keep wheeling, it won't take long.

Woah.....Last time I checked I was getting over 3".
While this setup (and the Franks) work EXCELLENT, I must admit that I lost some "bling factor" from being up in the air..

Whatever studs I had from Wheelers, Andy has them now. Those are the ones I sold to him a month or two ago.

At the time I just called up and ordered the TOE-2, and what I got in the mail was the rings and studs. Ticket wasnt itemized so I dont know what the breakdown was.

The back will come down. Maybe you just need a heavier rear bumper.

Ok, my wheelers studs just showed up. Guess what. It's a Daystar part number.

BU30000

If he charges $13.95, I'm willing to bet that it costs him 1/2 half of that. Look into becoming a Daystar dealer and sell those spacer with the Daystar studs. That was always my beef with there poly kits, the lame bolts instead of studs.

Agreed...I am now sitting at a bit under 2" in the rear on my 891s. The Cornbred's will be going on next weekend.

I got the TRD Tundra springs put on today. I gained about 2.5 in. in lift, that is with no spacer just the springs and Bils.

On your D-Cab or Xtra cab? Don't the 4x4 V6 4Runner coils lift the Taco? Snap some pics and take measurements. Which shocks did you go with?
