I'm trying to decide between the two (downey and OME 891), what coils would you recommend with the stock bumper??

If any one has front and rear springs and shocks whether it be Tundra and OME combo or all OME set up I am interested in buying I'm not looking to go all out yet and just want to get my feet wet. I have a 3rd gen 1998 4x4 limited. looking for around 2" of lift..... pending how it rides I might decide to go more extreme later. Thanks in advance for any advice and help

You already have the bumpstops in the rear.
You have to call wheelers for the studs, they aren't online.

Pop the coil part numbers into 1sttoyotaparts.com and you'll be golden.

ok, I was reading somewhere else that with a lift, you need limiting straps on the coils, is this really necessary?

if you run Tundra springs w/ OME shocks, limiting straps are a good idea as you get too much droop. The inner part of the ball joint hits one fo the coils ever so slightly.

I believe he is refering to putting front coils from a FZJ80 in the rear of a 96-02 4runner. Around 3" of lift.

Installed the FRONT coils from a FZJ80 in the REAR of a '97 4runner.

Ditched the sway bar and added one of Schaefers panhard drop brackets.

3.5" of lift, the ride is fantastic and w/o the sway bar it flexes like mad!

Did you get the bracket from Yoder or Brown? They can't seem to find any welders.
