Speaking of limiting straps....
Is this a good insurance plan? I don't mind welding the tabs for this, but what size straps should be used front and rear?
Also, are you sure the cup is supposed to face up? Because every install I've seen shows them in the down position....
e.g. See the Coil is OVER the cup, in the DOWN position

a 10" to 12" strap should work fine, weld the lower mount on first then, test assemble everything, to see where the top mount need to be welded. When I did mine, I swapped the brake line mount tabs from the left side to the right. This give more room to locate the upper mount.
18" strap on the rear

Another question... I am not ready to lift my truck yet. It seems from a quick read you are getting your lift from spacers and not the springs. Can I get the improved ride benefits without the lift for now and be able to add the spacers for the lift later on? My shocks are so worn out the slightest bumps are annoyingly harsh. When I get back to Colorado I'll want to install the lift.

I am tempted to start another thread for this.... Which makes the ride, shocks or coils? I understand that if the coils are too firm, you can't get full flex and if they are too soft, well... the truck would probably feel like it is a Cadillac on the highway. Stiff shocks would likely make you feel every imperfection in the road. I just don't know what the best setup is of the four possibilities. Shocks/Coils soft/soft, soft/firm, firm/soft, and firm/firm.

I say that b/c the questions being asked have already been answered. They are throughout the thread. I know b/c I have read it countless times. I am not saying there is anything wrong with the thread, but rather the info provided regards the Tundra springs and their relation to other setups. Aside from the info provided, those of us with the new setup have given reports post-install.
It's just starting to feel like beating a dead horse.
I am extremely appreciative for this info, but really...

Hey Steve,
Got a Q for ya. Was I supposed to take out the rear coil bumpstop? (Inside the coil) or do I just leave it or trim it?
I got home late today, so the bar will have to go tomorrow.
Thanks again!
Aj.
