sean, that wasn't aimed at you at all -- i wasnt aiming at anyone, and really i was semi-kidding. sorry if that came off as being defensive on my part.

Looks good Matt. Nice to see it mounted again. I'll be picking up that last bit of paint this afternoon to finish up things. Sorry I haven't gotten back to you since your message over the weekend. Things have been crazy - I'll explain on the phone. Now all you need is a set of Hella 500's (55W each) or IPF 900's (130W each) to go on the guard and you'll be set.

Hella 500 Driving Lights on eBay for $50/pair w/ wiring harness

IPF 900's on eBay for $165/pair w/ wiring harness

Oh, and guys, lay off on all the Brush Guard insults. His runner is a 2WD and doesn't see any trails. He knows EXACTLY what kind of damage they can do because he saw mine first hand and saw how much damage was done to the guard itself. Like he said, that's why he pays insurance. Let him enjoy his ride the way HE wants to build it up...

... well, I may be swinging a deal w/ shazam (shazad) and re-painting his flares in exchange for his snorkel and old fender. It's only shipping and that only costs money, so what's stopping ya???

Oh, sure take it off and send it to me. $80 gets it sent back to you including shipping. Of course there's a fee! Either it's a swap for a snorkel (somehting I want) or soemthing else I need or just paying back a favor or two (Brian) or plain old CASH (via paypal) like for Matt, then I work things out. Paint is expensive, but my time is also valuable to me.

no worries, I guess I just thought it was for me since I was the only one who kinda voiced some concern in the thread.

Sean sorry If i sounded like i blew off on you. It's just that people rip on brushguards so much but the benefits of NOT having an ARB or TJM has not been mentioned before so...I got a little bit smart.

Almost positive that it's not. And if it was, ARB or TJM would have it ALL OVER their ads

From ARB USA

Engineering a bull bar requires careful consideration of a number of factors to ensure it properly serves its purpose. Factors such as vehicle design, crush rate, air bag deployment, approach angles, accessory fitment, strength, weight and aesthetics are addressed in every ARB bar before it enters production
