If you want a good skid-plate that will prove to be useful late when doing some serious off-roading get the bud-built. If you don't see yourself taking it much further than fire roads then stick to the factory tacoma one that is there pretty much for looks. Bud not only makes a great product but also is a great guy. I'm going to be giving him a call in the not so distant future myself!

Hey where in Tulsa did ya buy that? I live there. I bought my 2000 a couple of months ago and couldnt find any decent priced ones in town so I went up to Nebraska actually. I wanted to find a Tundra but I think the 4runner will last a year or so for me.

Uhm well where do you go out here? I have some decent AT tires but no skids or lift or sliders so I dont wanna beat it up to bad but would like to take it out. No mud for me, thats just a pain to clean.
