New lift results (with pics)

I redid my suspension do to the fact with my old stock coils i was not getttin a true 3 inch lift. For the front i went with OME 881's with a 1.5 inch daystar spacer. Bringing the front to roughly 2.75 inches of lift from a 99 4Runner height, which is really about 4 inches higher than my originally sat. My 4Runner pretty much looked like it had 2WD springs on it when i first got it. For the rear i went with a 99 rear coil from a 4Runner highlander with a 2.5 inch revtek spacer. You can see the difference between my stock coils and the 99 coils from COYOTA'S 99 4Runner.

here are the pics. The left side sits about 1-1.5 inches lower than the right?? why the hell is it doin that? im goin to switch the rear coils around and see what happens.

I might put my 3/8" revtek topout spacers on the front, but im not sure yet. what do you guys think? leave it alone so it wont sag under load , or level it out?

You cant beat a red 4Runner, its a nice rare color for the 3rd gens. I wanted a Red 5spd ever since i was in 8th grade, but back then i had my mind focused on 2nd gen, then when it came time to buy a 4Runner, i stumbled across the perfect red 5spd, with low miles. And it looked like a lowrider. that was the only bad thing, but i knew that could be fixed. I stole it from the guy cuz he was being laid off from boeing, so he had it at a price that i didnt even bargain with cuz it was so low.

Clean!!...man, I like my green runner, but the red is lookin really good. I agree with the fender flares and then maybe a bumper...oh wait...what about manual hubs or rockcrawlers? Sorry, got a little carried away...anyways looks hot with the red paint and blacked windows

Cody-

One thing I was going to mention is that I ran OME 881s (with a 1"CB spacer and OME N91 struts) for over a year and it always had a slight lean to the driver's side, although not quite as much as you say yours is leaning. Mine was about .5-.75" lower. The OME coils are identical in length, where as Toyota coils are slightly longer for the drivers side...Most people end up adding trim packers to the drivers side strut to balance it out. Then you can decide whether or not you need the top-outs.

Jayson, i think what i might end up doing this afternoon is adding one topout spacer to the drivers side. It should even it out pretty good, then swap the rear coils around and see what happens. I thought i put the longer rear coil on the left side, but i guess not. Thanks for the tip.

Andrew, thanks for the good word, manual hubs might be in the future, prolly not, a bumper will definately come sooner or later, and rockcrawlers will never see my truck, I see too many of them on 4Runners, and i like mine cuz they are original. I like tryin to stay different from everyone, that one of the reasons i made my rocksliders different, so not EVERY 4Runner is the same. They all look sexy tho, i'll tell ya that much.

Cody, that is one of the nicer 3rd gens I have seen - I dig the color - I agree with Gapguy, some bigger tires would be nice though.

This should not be a problem according to the difficulty rating of 3. If we get stuck, there are many guys that has winches =)

Sweet man, looks good without the running boards too. I would go with the top out spacers if I were you. The standard spring rate is too soft IMO and I am very very glad I decided to go with the HD coils for my butt lift.
