new here and ? on Kong and Nuke
Hi Folks,
I'm new here and recently purchased my 1st 4x4: 2002 Toyota Tacoma ExtCab TRD 4x4. I'm not sure where this post belongs, so I'll apologise if posted in the wrong place. I have two questions:
1) What happened to Kong's? I hear this name mentioned every so often, but the search didn't turn up anything.
2) What happened to Nuke's? I've heard these are good disconnects, but heard from TTORA that Nuke's are nolonger made. Could anyone tell me why?
Thanks,
Hong

Welcome aboard there!
Nice truck btw
1: Not sure what happened to Kong's. If you're looking for sliders and what not, have you tried other places such as Demello Offroad? They're local in socal though but I know they can ship out to AZ.
2: Nuke's Disconnects are discontinued. A company is in the process of taking over and continuing production but it has still yet to be determined. Unfortunately, your best bet is to get some used ones of find some other disconnects.
If you haven't lifted ur rig, you should focus on that first and work your way up. Disconnects are also not too difficult to make and several members here have made their own and some even sell them on a limited basis.

From my understanding, Nuke got to busy to continue to make the parts.
What were you looking for?
