Have you done any intake mods yet? I had MUCH more throtle response gain from a cone filter than I did from my Magnaflow and pipe upgrade.

Post up when you get the exhaust put on, I've been thinking about getting it, too, and I'd love to know how it sounds, feels, etc.! Your 4runner looks sweet, from the tiny pic How do you like the 32" BFG's? I think those are gonna be my next tire. Did you paint your front bumper black? sry for all the questions!

yah i'll def. get pics while we put it on. the 32's? i love them, and they only rub slightly when i've got it almost locked out. and yes, i painted my bumpers this past summer. the chrome was starting to rust and i just could never get it looking that clean plus i like the look of the black, don't see it very often.

Very cool. Do you have a bigger picture of your rig? Did you rattlecan the bumpers? I'm in the process of "dechroming" my runner, and I have the wheels, mirrors, and front emblems done. The bumpers look nice!

yah i just used cans, did it in my garage and just slowly put multiple layers. put on a number of coats of top coat to really try to seal it in. they've got some chips in them already after 6 months but thats to be expected. they're really holdin up better than i had hoped. i'll try to put up a bigger picture of it too

The Jardine exhaust and the cone filter make a huge difference on my 4runner. If you can, get all the connections welded, the clamps leak a bit. The Jardine muffler is also too loud for my taste. It was the first mod I did when I got the truck, if I had it to do over I would make my own system with 2 1/4 tube and a quieter muffler.

well i've got the jardine exhaust in and now i'm planning on getting a new cat. the cat on mine is the 18" one but what i'm wondering is, will a 13" cat work with mine? because they are less than half the price of the 18" and then i could just get a short section of pipe added and welded and still just about spend less than buying the 18" cat. has anyone done this or just in theory would this work? i still need to be able to pass emissions. thanks in advance
