nothing will be sold or finalized until we have a lot of opinions.
im just trying to show everyone what is possible and what is doable. soon enough youll have the logo of your dreams

Although I am a little partial I do have to agree with BOSTON4RUNNER. And I do so hate copy someone else's idea BUT. The NC 4ROC sticker is mighty impressive looking to me also !
Yes I do know that it is in the early stages of the decision making about the "Flag " we will fly , but that is a good begining you have to admit !
Although if we do have to have Taco's in the mix I guess it would be best to either have the 2 versions of the sticker .
Just pokin fun at the Taco's that are showing interest in the club, everyone is family here - Truck or Runner ! ! ! !
And by the way Amatoer10 and Intrepid where is the meet and greet on the 14th going to be. Sounds like a good idea ! And how about the ride on the 21st ? Sounds like a great way to get things up and running !

the meet and greet/wrench-a-thon will be in Marlboro, mainly to help our president out with getting his SAS together on his 95 tacoma. He has most the parts and its time for the fun part of trying to put it all together. we will also be installing a spacer lift on Heath's (intrepidyota) truck which should not take too long. the run on the 21st will be in Ashburnham which is right off Rt 2 near Gardner.

these are legal public trails going in and around the Ashburnham state forest. I've only been through there once but Heath has grown up in the area and knows the trails like the back of his hand. I was actually looking on a massachusetts topography map today and all the trails are either solid lines (public roads, although a normal car wouldnt be able to go down them) or dashed lines (trails) that say 4WD. and they are mostly stock passable. it is actually a hotspot for quads and dirtbikes which are rather abundant near the sand pits. plus, we'll be be planning to get a grill going afterwards

The reason that I ask is that I have seen write up's about Ma. changing their laws in the last year or two governing 4 wheel drive use on the trails. To the effect that no vehicle over 1000 lbs. are able to go off-road unless it is private land with the owners permission. I'm not 100% sure about this and that is the reason for my question !
If anyone knows the answer to this could you share it with me ?

i understand your concern. I'm not sure about that law, but i'm pretty sure that the trails which are labeled as public roads are fair game for trucks. In fact the only time that i went through these trails, we only stayed on the "roads" and there was plenty of mud and rocks to last for hours. so there are still plenty of places in these woods that we can legally go and still have fun

Dont get me wrong , I'm not some tree hugger or butterfly chaser ! I am just not a fan of having my hard earned money go out the window to an officer that is just doing his job ! They do what they have to do and I have a choice . My choice is do the right thing the first time and not having to pay for doing the wrong over and over again, {ie} ticket fine - court cost - insurance . You know what I mean.

i understand what you are saying, and i'm not really trying to start a land use discussion right now. all i'm saying is that there is a good number of trails in Ashburnham. And many of them, the ones which we will be on, are classified as public roads, which means open to all vehicles. Across New England there are unmaintained roads which are public roads, they just require a 4WD vehicle to drive. so to answer your original question... yes, we will be wheeling on legal trails.

Legal Trails
There are three trails I figured we would run that day depending on time, two are old unmaintained public roads that are a blast, and one runs through some power-lines so that may not be legal. You are more than welcome to join in on the parts that interest you.
