New Email Subscription Service Offered At YotaTech
We now have a new service set up for the members here by our host.
In order to use it, you must be logged in and click on the link called "YotaTech Email Subscriptions" at the bottom of the main page.
What this does is allow you to subscribe to a forum here, or all the forums.
This is different than when you click on the subscribe link that you see in a post you are in, or following.
This will be a recap of ALL the posts for a certain time period that you choose to have emailed to you.
You can choose to have your subscriptions sent up to 24 times a day.
Also if your email program you use is set to HTML instead of plain text, the format will look much better and include "live" clickable links to all the days active threads.
Here is an example with my Outlook email program with HTML turned on.
Very clean looking.
You can subscribe to as many forums as you want, and to unsubscribe there is a link at the very bottom of your email that you receive.
You can also unsubscribe right from the link on Yotatech.
Just hi-lite the forum you are subscribed to, then under the time input area, select none from the drop down list.
There are also instructions on how to use it on the subscribe page.
Pay heed to the setting for your time.
If you don't have the correct time setup in your Control Panel here, you will not get the mail sent to you at the time you request on the subscription page.
We the staff here at Yotatech hope you enjoy this new feature, and find it useful.
