New 2nd Gen 4Runner Owner
Greetings,
Just a quick note to say hey. I just bought a '93 2WD 4Runner SR5 with 102K miles.
I've owned a GMC Typhoon for the last 8 years and have grown tired of it. I needed something I could drive everyday and not worry about where I park or door dings. The Typhoon is for sale - but I won't be too sad if it has to stay in the garage for awhile
Anyway - I look forward to helping where I can. I'm more than willing to help people wrench if needed. Since I'm new to the scene - I'll be needing lots of help also. I'll get some pics up after I spend some time with the buffer. Why did I buy another black car?

ive had two black vehicles, they look sooo nice when they are all clean and shiny! my water bill was getting out of hand with all the time i spent keeping them clean! weclome to the group, sell that typhoon so you can use the money for modding up your runner!

My Ty is white - which people say is so easy to keep clean - bah! It isn't as bad as black - but it is a pain. The Murano is black. I didn't really care what color what the 4Runner was - it just ended up everything else was perfect. I couldn't descriminate because it was black The real sad thing is the 4Runner sits outside (until the Ty goes) so it is even more hard to keep clean.
I'm thinking a nice coat of mud will be better

Thanks for the welcome.
I have the V6, for now. Who knows what the future holds. I'm going to TRY to not mod this much - but that isn't easy for me. If the engine goes - I'll be looking towards a LS1 V8/T56 out of a Camaro. Maybe.
It isn't a 4WD, so any swap complications will be cut in half.
But, until it breaks - it'll be all bolt-ons.
