Need to upgrade my air intake/filter.

So I took off my plastic fender wells and now water gets pushed up into my air intake/filter wich is no bueno. I don't want to put the fender wells back in (the plastic guards) so I'm wondering what I can do as far as air intake. I'm thinking either a snorkel or if I can possibly rig something to relocate it so it's not sucking in air through the fender well. Any advice?

I have stock fender wells so I don't think 3 PVS would fit at all.

Couldn't you cap off the snorkel at the airbox do the deckplate mod?

Deckplate mod is popular. Ton of info and how to on the web. Puts a hole on the front of air box, you'd still have the factory intake hole though.

Haven't been on here in awhile. Any advice other than the deck plate mod? I wont be putting the fender wells back in so I need to figure something out... What about a snorkel? Would this be a good route to go?

Bringing back this old thread instead of starting a new one as I still need to get this situated. Is a snorkel my only route? The vehicle does get submerged up to the grill every so often.

A snorkel would be your best option.

Depends on if you want to start cutting holes in stuff. Here is what I did. Also tons of builds for snorkels on here if you do a search.
