Need Transmission Shop Reccomendation in Georgia.

Alright so Ive been trying to sell my 4runner as-is and got a few bites but it seems I need to fix it before I sell my 4runner. About 2 months ago when I went to drive it it was slipping real bad and wouldn't go into first but would go into reverse.

-I do remember that Jiffy Lube said I might need to replace the transmission fluid. Could maybe that be the only problem? And is that an easy fix?

-But if not I need a reccomendation on a place in metro Atlanta (I live in Roswell) that could do a rebuilt transmission install for kinda cheap.

Once thats finished I believe I can sell my 4runner since I have a baby coming in 6 months I need the money.

Thanks,
Paul

These guys are located in Alpharetta and are excellent mechanics:

I'm not sure if they are "cheap" but they are thorough and honest.

Thanks. I will check them out. Do you have any first hand experience with them? And if so how did it go and what did you get fixed?

My old neighbor owns Roswell Auto, though I've never had first hand experience he recommends Mr. Transmission

So my 4runner is currently at Mr Transmission and it needs a rebuilt transmission. He is quoting me $1800 to $2200 to rebuild it. Miller, this shop is reputable right? And does that price seem rights guys?

Well I gotta get the 4runner sold and fixing it seems best route. I told them to go ahead and hopefully itll be toward the lower end of his pricing spectrum, ya right.
