need some help on saw
Can anyone answer this question? Will Tundra sway a ways (race runners go under a 99 4Runner? Meaning will they bolt up and fit length wise? Any help would be appreciated... Need in a hurry I can pick a set up for 325.00 used let me know

The boxes for my 4runner SAW racerunner coil overs are labveled for a Tundra, so I am pretty sure they are the same shock. The Tundra set-up has a spacer that needs to be removed. Also double-check the lower bushings - one of my SAWs had bushings that were too small.

thanks
The spacer? it it like the one on top for lift? Or for something else? The bushing on the bottom is it for the bolt that attachs it to the lower controll arm? Is 325.00 a good price? Chris they have 30,000 miles on them.

Can you post a pic so we can see if there are any differences.

Contact SAW or Mike at Extreme to confirm if the Tundra/4runner shocks are interchangable. That way you'll know for sure rather than our speculation.
But if you like speculation, the top of the SAW has multiple threaded holes, so I'm pretty sure it can work for both the tundra and the tacoma/4runner. Here's the spacer I had to remove from one of my SAWs - Mike at extreme told me it was the Tundra spacer. It was very easy to remove - just loosen up the adjustor as far as it will go, remove the cap, remove the spring, and pull off the spacer.
SAW spacer on left - bushings on right
I'm just mentioning the bottom bushing because I've heard it is a relatively common problem for the SAW to come with lower heim joint bushing thats that are too small for the 4runner mounting bolt. It's an easy fix though - just have Mike or SAW send you the right bushings. They just pop right in.
Most 4runner owners go for the Tundra valving because the rigs are heavier than Tacomas and many run bumpers/winches.
$325 is a great price. With 30,000 miles on them you will want to make sure they are fully charged with Nitrogen to 200 psi.
