Just get some Monroe Sensatracs. I run them. I got them on sale -- buy three, get one free thing. Inexpensive ($215 CDN) and Parts Source and plenty good for what you want to do with your Runner. Then, with the bit of money you save get some really good tires.

Sorry to jack this thread again but I was driving my 2nd gen around today and MAN, the 3rd gen rides so much different! My 2nd gen just kinda cruises over the larger bumps and the 3rd gen rocks and rolls when I hit the same ones. Although, the 3rd gen does do better on bumpy roads...is this just the way they are built or is it because the 2nd gen has Bils on it?
Sounds like for you Bilsteins are the way to go, you get what you pay for man! Bils are awesome!
