need radiator advice. is size important?
ok so i have a 99 taco 3.4 4wd supercharged standard trans.
i want an all metal radiator to replace the leaking one (plastic tank is cracked)
i cannot find one for my truck any freagin place. i have the 20 3/4 core instead of the 22 5/8. i found the csf 2304 for an 01 runner in all metal. which is the 22 5/8
my question is will it wreak havoc on anything for my pickup having those 1.875 extra inches? because my understanding is that the runners and tacos from those years have the same water pump and technically exact same motor (give or take options... i.e sr5 vs. limited or something). so if the runners have the bigger radiator with no problem then why cant my tacoma? is my thinking askew?

I run the all metal 3 row radiator listed for the 3.0 in my 2000 Tacoma and my 92 4runner 3.4
What ever one in all metal in Radiator Barns website. for the 92 4Runner
For the Tacoma I needed to make some custom brackets because of the size difference.
It works just fine in both vehicles
I also run one in the 22rec 4 Runner.
Two big almost never hurts to small you need to worry

For what it is worth.
I unbolted the brackets on the stock Tacoma radiator welded these to the new radiator . just a few short stitch welds.
Then bolted it fast
It has been well over a year
