My saturday projects done! (PICS)

So today i took care of some stuff on my car today that ive been wanting to do for a while, First i got my tranny flushed at the local toyota dealership

then: The DECKPLATE MOD!

I really like the deckplate mod cause it add performance for a cheap price and it looks really cool. Although trying to pick one up was difficult, I went to a local marine store and they didnt know what i was talking about when i asked for a deckplate which threw me off, so i made up a story about a friend who needed a deckplate for his boat and i was picking one up for him. I didnt wanna confuse them by saying "im buying this so i can stick on the intake of my 4runner" then proceed to explain how the hole in the intake would be beneficial cause it can suck more air yet the deckplate makes it reversable, so anyways after browsing their store for a few mins i spotted one on a top rack and that was that.

Then i installed my airaid intake that i ordered from Jason B.

And finally bought an amp install kit and hooked up my sub thats been in the garage for months.

So i got the beats back in woot woot.

Anyways the deckplate in combo with the airaid in combo with my flowmaster sounds awesome and performs well, i have yet to test it on the highway tho, and the airaid intake definitely cleans up the engine compartment since that gy-normous intake box is gone. Then i got sub in for the tunes so im stoked and thought id share

I'll snap one tomorrow. I think with the 2" BL it made it real difficult to fit the airaid on. I actually trimmed off some of the plastic tube to make it fit.
