My ride is done...for the most part - PICS
Well, the runner is pretty much done. Had to add an extra 1/2" of lift to the rear after loading in the new box for my subs...final, and I do mean final measurements are this:
Front ground to fender: 39"
Rear ground to fender: 41.25"
The overall rake seems perfect to me. It rides like a dream down the interstate, and has surprised me a lot on its offroading capabilities...though 15" of ground clearance does help...the bfg A/T's sure load up with mud easy though. Pounded the pinch welds, helped a lot on the front inner fenders.
I also completed a bunch of custom paint work, and I'd be love to steer ya all in the right direction on what I did if you are interested...stole some ideas out of a magazine...these pics will get posted asap, as well as the new stereo setup. Threw the JL 3 way components in the front (xr series I think??)...added a 3 ferad cap and am adding a second one, with a new isolator, 3rd battery and possible larger alternator...though that has already been upgraded. Did finally get a legit reading on the Db meter and hit 167. I'm extremely busy, but here are some pics for now...I'll have a ton in a couple more days. Feel free to hit me for any questions, etc.

Hey all-
First of all, thanks for the comps...I am really here just to help the rest of ya and show you all that a 4th gen does have potential if a little effort is put into it. I figure the more I screw up, the more it will save the rest of you in the future.
Oly- Hey, I have seen at least 3 different yota's around campus that look like your rig...one was pulling into the dorms across from Columbo's last night...is that you??...hit me up one of these days before I jet town in May.
schlopecki- running some 315/70R17's...same size as a stock H2, so I was able to pick em up real cheap as everyone swaps off there stockers...I just have a little rubbing on the frame at full turn, nothing major though.
Again, just let me know how I can help ya'll...I think you'll like the upcoming pics.

Hate to be the drop of rain on your parade, but is that an inward angle I see on your passenger side tire? Just worried about the CV joints. Might just be that the road is sloped a little.

Again, thanks guys...I'll answer some more questions for ya.
tenfourtyeight- I assume you were able to figure out how I did the tail lights by now...with the highlighted quote, etc...I actually pulled one of the tail lights off the rig when I did the first one, and then realized that with some good tape work that I could paint the other while they were on the vehicle. The whole process took less than 1/2 hour on a sunny day.
I'll get some pics next to a stocker, and also get the day and night brake shots you were asking for, Lee.
BlkSS1755- yeah, those are the hooks you are speaking of...without the use of a skid you could use both bolts to attach them to the eyes to make the setup even stronger. Just be sure to get washers large enough in diameter to fit over and below the stock eyes.
Churnd- hey, thanks again bro...as much as I would love to do the SAS, I am finally out of every cent of dinero I once owned...not sure where it all went..??!.. I am getting a solid 3.5" out of the front with the IFS, and the CV angles are right about 10 degrees, so I think for the time being, the SAS is just a wet dream. Maybe this summer after I finish up school. I'll keep everyone posted.
