Hey Christian, so after 2 years, have you had to deal with touch up or anything? I did mine a few months ago using Duplicolor paint. Check it out. I basically go the idea from you after reading this thread.

Dude, your wheels look great in that color! Anyway, over time I have touched up the wheels a couple times - but only because I am pretty anal. Everything, as a whole, has held up great. I have no regrets and would do it again in a heartbeat!

Thanks. I definately hace agree with you, I don't regret doing it and wouldn't mind the occassional touch up. I would have to think that even in the long run, toush up would still be cheaper than th one time powder coating. Again thanks for the idea.

Aside from that, instructions are on the back of rattle cans, which includes drying time. It gets far easier than going to a store to look, though. Since we have internet access and know that the paint is

Drying is different than curing especially on something that is so close to wear like wheels. I am a newbie and just asked a simply question on the closest thread I located with my limited search knowledge. I didn't realize it was so old. I dont have any remorse for you havin to skip over an old thread while a new guy figures out the site. Dont get so butthurt mastadick. I find your passive aggressive attitude very helpful however thanks for the advice

Dang, I can't believe this thread still has posts on it, LOL. Wheels are still painted and holding up as of 2013.
I wait a minimum of 3 hours before driving and that's only when I have a uniform heat source on the wheels.
