My new tires installed & questions
Hello all,
I've put in my truck a set of BFG M/T's in 31x10.5.
Well, I have rear HD coils wich gived my truck a lift of 1.6'' of lift (4cm).
When I installed the new coils didn't touch the T-Bars cause the truck was leveled.
I've put the new tires in and tested the rubbing in full compression and steering.
I was a little surprised because I've only 1cm of clearance in the inside of the fender and thought that can fit 32's with little rubbing.
My 4Runner looks higher than the average Spanish 4Runners. So what can it be?
Spanish 4Runners had 215/80R15 tires (Near 28.5''). It's possible than my 4Runner was lower than yours in stock?
I thought that 31 could be put without rubbing but I'm nearly close... When the tire would be full of mud I'm sure they'll rub...
I know I can crank a little the TBars but I don't like that my rear seems sagged... Can I cut the little plastic? It seems not to be touching the metal fender.
Anyways the tires look great!

(Look how I repaired my frame front end damage)
Near rubbing at full compression and steering:
Testing clearance
Thanks,
David

Well, I solved my sagging with the coils I have now. They are same characteristics as OME ones but Spanish made.
With this pic and looking to the LCA's, can you say if my 4Runner is underlifted in the front? (This is also the pic where you can see the repair I did in my front frame)
Thanks,
David
PS: I don't want to change my coils now. I'm saving for a serious lift hehe.
